Brown остава в затвора | The Voice

Chris Brown

Chris Brown was sentenced to another 131 days in jail on Friday after admitting in court that he violated his probation. In October, the R&B singer confessed to getting in a physical altercation with a man outside a hotel in Washington D.C. The trial for the Breezy’s D.C. assault case begins in June.

Brown has been serving jail time since mid-March after he was kicked out of a court-ordered treatment facility for violating “internal rules.” He had been at the facility for four months.

The judge presiding over Brown’s hearing on Friday sentenced Brown to one year in jail, but gave him credit for eight months of the time he’s served as well as credit for good behavior while in jail. Once released from jail, Brown will still have to complete the remainder of his 1,000 hours of community service sentence.

There’s a good chance, however, that Brown might be released before his 131 days are up. TMZ reports that offenders who are sentenced to one year in L.A. county have on average been released after 240 days, which Brown is nearly shy of at this point.

Brown was under probation for his 2009 assault case against Rihanna where he attacked her right before the Grammy Awards.
